Wren Ellis

Contemporary Artist

Wren Ellis is an award-winning contemporary artist specializing in the artforms of music, filmmaking and 3D renderings.

He has been in the visual media field since 2009 and has since found success in varying industries - primarily the feature film and NFT arenas. Operating out of his rural house in the woods of Vermont, his primary focus is his Cardano NFT art project, Over Exposed.

Abstract Art

In February of 2022, Wren sold out 4,000 art pieces in 1 hour for a total of $600,000.

Since then, over $3.8 million has been spent purchasing his work on secondary markets.

Educator

At the age of 21, Ellis was hired to teach visual arts at collegiate level in Boston, MA. He was one of the youngest associate professors in the school's history. He held his position for four years until he departed the role to pursue his contemporary art in Los Angeles.

Filmmaking

In 2020, Wren was the co-director, cinematographer, composer and editor on a feature film starring Linus Roache (Batman Begins, Vikings, Homeland), Elizabeth Marvel (Lincoln, House of Cards, True Grit) and Kathryn Erbe (Law and Order, The Blacklist) and won "Best Drama" at the 40th year of the prestigious Breckenridge Film Festival.

The film also won four other awards as well as 23 "Official Selections" in film festivals around the world.
